Recipe Name: Banana Pudding Crunch Cheesecake
Ingredients:
1 Box White Cake Mix
3 Eggs
2 Large Bananas (or 3 small)
1 Box Vanilla Wafers
1 Container of Cool Whip
1 3/4 Cup Milk
3 Tbsp Butter
2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Pinches Nut Meg
2 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation:
Preheat your oven on 375° but you're going to bake on 350° 20 to 25 minutes
Take the pan that you are making your cake in and place it in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes with 3 tbsp of butter to melt
Peel the bananas and place them into a bowl. Beat the bananas until very soft, then pour in your cake batter. Crack eggs and beat until silky smooth. Add in two teaspoons of extra virgin oil and beat until you can no longer see the oil.
Take the melted butter, make sure the pan is coated edges and along the bottom with butter. Pour the extra butter into the cake batter then stir. Pour cake batter into the pan and place the cake in the oven for baking (20-25 Minutes until a toothpick comes out clean).
In a bowl, add banana pudding mix with 1 3/4 Cup of milk. Stir until you get a consistent thickness. Add half the container of Cool Whip in with the pudding. Add two pinches of NutMeg along with two caps of vanilla extract. Stir that really well for about 2 to 3 minutes. Sit in the refrigerator along with the cake (when done) until your cake is completely cooled off. For best results let cake sit in refrigerator for at least 3 hours. It is very important to be completely cool before adding the topping.
Set aside enough vanilla wafers to decorate the top. Crunch up the rest in the bag until really fine.
Once your cake is cold, remove it from the dish and set it to the side. Get topping out the fridge and put a bottom layer of the topping on the bottom of the pan. Put a thin layer of the vanilla wafer crumble on the bottom. Take a sharp knife and cut your cake directly in half. Set the top of the cake middle down then place the bottom of the cake in the pan. Add the pudding to the middle of the cake and layer with the crumble on the top of that. Add the top of the cake and place it on the middle. Repeat - by adding the pudding topping on the top and the crumble on that. Finalize and decorate with whole wafers on the top.
